Lab1 - cmps2010 Review

The purpose of this lab is to review cmps2010 material on the topics of arrays, functions, pointers, and dynamic memory allocation. For this lab, you will take the given main function and code the missing function definitions to perform as described in the given incomplete code.

Functions

• isPositive - This function will pass an integer and return the boolean equivalency of whether the passed integer is positive.
• allocate - This function will pass an integer for the amount of integers to dynamically allocate. This function will return an integer pointer.
• inputTestScores - This function will pass in an integer array and the capacity to the array. This function will prompt the user to enter a test score, validating the score, otherwise prompting the user to re-enter a test score.
• calcTestAvg - This function will pass the const tests pointer, the count of tests, returning the average of the tests array as a float.
• displayTestResults - This function will pass the const tests pointer, the count of tests, and the average, print out each test score, and the average up to two decimal points.
• deallocate - This function will pass the tests pointer by reference, and deallocate the entire array if the tests array is not NULL, then set the pointer to NULL.
• convertToLowerCase - This function will pass a cstring and the string length of the cstring. This function will traverse the string converting the value to its lower case value.
