Homework 2 - Project Progress Report

Due: Monday May 18th by the end of the day

The homework this week is to give me a project progress report on your group projects. There are two reports for this homework: (1) an individual report for each student in the class and (2) an overall group progress report.

Part 1 - Individual Progress Report

Every student must write their own individual progress report. This report should summarize what tasks the student has completed so far and what tasks the student plans to complete before the end of the project. This should correspond roughly to the task assignment portion of your project proposal.

Part 2 - Group Progress Report

Each group also needs to collectively prepare a progress report on the project overall. The report should summarize the work completed so far on the project. For interactive demo projects, list what portions of the demo have been completed. If you are reading articles/papers by others, include a list of references that have been surveyed. Use one of the following styles for references:
Conference proceeding:
Author List. Title. In Proceedings of the Conference Name, Conference Location, Month and Year of Conference, Page Numbers.

Journal proceeding:
Author List. Title. Journal Name, Volume Number, Issue Number, Page Numbers, Month and Year Published.

Book:
Author List. Title. Publisher, Year Published.

Online article:

Examples of each reference style:

The group progress report should also update the task assignments to reflect what needs to be completed before the end of the project and who is responsible for those portions.

What to Submit

Upload your write-up to Moodle, either as a DOC, PDF, TXT, or ODT file or using the Moodle text box. Each student should have an individual report. One student per group should upload the group report.
