About me
I am an Assistant Professor at Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at California State University, Bakersfield. I joined CEECS in August 2016 and have been teaching undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I got my Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering under supervision of Dr. Reza Ghorbani from University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2015 where I was member of REDLab. I joined Grid System Technologies Advanced Research Team (GridSTART) as Postdoctoral Fellow in Jan 2016 to work on voltage control of distribution system with high penetration of rooftop solar generation. My research is on control and optimization of distributed renewable energy resources to achieve 100% clean energy goal in California by 2045.
